Meetings are BIMONTHLY.*** Call For Volunteers With the expansion of experiential, digital and live (2010s/pre-Covid for live, unexpectedly during it for digital) A.M.E.E.N. is newly organized for the industry. This Anti-Misconduct and -Exclusion Experiential Network is volunteer made and spreads resources for your production and workplace to be safer. Through an action initiative AMEEN also seeks inclusivity in the field’s leadership. Explore AMEEN’s site: ameenetwork.org. As it grows, you’ll: Find materials on antiracism and safety when your team seeks self education. Get job/producing help with contract and budget boilerplate templates for your use. Share and find positive collaborator referrals. Find recommendations on immersive-minded lawyers. Find immediate support for your situation. Get advice on fundraising and sponsorships. AMEEN’s volunteers work with you. Aligning the immersive industry with #metoo and BLM and monitoring the industry’s future and wellbeing are out of our passion to support YOUR work that redesigns the landscape. Become a volunteer or ask any Q’s: admin@ameenetwork.org - At meetings we welcome new volunteers, discuss you and we seek to improve in the industry, go over updates on all in-progress actions and resources and initiatives, discussion of allegations that were made public, how they were handled, what went well, constructive criticism on how monitoring can improve, how AMEEN should support. Next steps include expansion of working groups, action groups, and outreach so that community awareness of the tools available can be widespread. - Regardless of your ability to attend, all SUPPORT TOOLS (resources) are NOW LIVE for your use -- contribute your nameless conflict/work experience to the Safety resource for colleagues' future education, place positive referrals for collaborators in the public Forum and more. Solely two tools (fundraising, budget) however remain ripe for growth, and this call for volunteers is a request for readers to lend their expertise!
