The world-renowned Olivier nominated smash hit will once again open in London – but this time at its new home, LABYRINTH Waterloo. With even more twists and turns for 2022, ALICE’S ADVENTURES UNDERGROUND is a fusion of storytelling, music, circus, puppetry and spectacle. Discover your Wonderland like never before with this interactive, 90-minute narrative theatre show, piecing together the puzzle as to what has happened to Alice who is lost in the looking glass. We’re placing you at the heart of the action. But hopefully not at the Queen of Hearts’ feet. Help Alice in an adventure like no other – your adventure. Will you go this way or that? Eat or Drink? Grow or Shrink? The choice is yours. Take tea with the maddest of Hatters, let the Cheshire Cat take you hither or thither and explore a land full of wonder. About Les Enfants Terribles Theatre Company
‘Razor sharp theatre group Les Enfants Terribles’ (THE TELEGRAPH) is one of the most innovative and exciting theatre companies working today. Our work includes award winning, international stage shows such as ‘The Trench’, ‘The Terrible Infants’, ‘The Vaudevillains’, groundbreaking immersive work like Olivier-nominated ‘Alice’s Adventures Underground’, ‘Dinner at the Twits’ and ‘The Game’s Afoot’, innovative outdoor family touring work such as ‘The Marvellous Imaginary Menagerie’ and ‘The Fantastical Flying Exploratory Laboratory’ and large scale public events and installations in the corporate and cultural sectors for the likes of The British Library, the V&A, Stella Artois and Toyota among many others. Run by Oliver Lansley and James Seager the company is dedicated to creating original, innovative and exciting theatre. Known for our striking visual aesthetic and innovative use of props, puppetry and live music we are constantly pushing ourselves to explore new ways of telling stories and immersing ourselves and our audiences in the weird and wonderful worlds created by our shows. Our artistic policy is to make theatre we love and theatre that excites us, and we hope in turn excites our audiences. Founded in 2001 by Artistic Director Oliver Lansley, the company had received consistent critical acclaim, won top industry awards, and established a large and loyal following for its unique work. The company were nominated for an Olivier Award in 2015, made the Stage Power 100 List in 2017 and was nominated for The Stage Innovation Award in 2016. Long time collaborator James Seager came on board as Producer to co-run the company in 2005.
