It is real, and you’re going there right now – put your trousers on… ACTUALQUEST is an interactive, immersive, fantasy musical that is set in and around your very own home; all you need is a smart device, about 25 minutes and a giddy sense of adventure! Inspired by fantasy games of the 90s, from the masterpiece TV gameshow Knightmare to the brilliantly tacky VHS board games like Atmosfear, ACTUALQUEST is a wonky, gaudy, hilarious adventure that shows us how, even when we can feel totally out of control, there is always joy and hope to be found. The piece is largely audio-based, so let your imagination – led by powerful guides Peter and David McWizard – literally transform your home into the parallel universe of PretendyLand.
