Acheron-IV: A Psychological Horror Sci-Fi LARP

ACHERON IV is an immersive experience looking to explore loss, grief, memory, humanity and the unknown. Through Live Action Role Play, Ministers will be interrogating the returning Cosmonauts about what happened on the Morana-7 during it’s two year voyage, especially surrounding the events near the mysterious planet of Acheron IV. It is intended to be a heady, emotional, and intense experience, with an experimental design, where the players tell the story. A maximum of 10 players per show. --- Players will either play one of the three surviving cosmonauts who are being interrogated about the official report and logs of the expedition, or members of the Central Ministry who are tasked with carrying out the inquiry and deciding the fate of not only the Cosmonauts, but also the potential future of humanity in space. The Ministers will lead the inquiry, with the cosmonauts answering questions and this will be juxtaposed with scenes of the Cosmonauts improvising what *really* happened on their journey. Players can expect to inhabit a wheelchair accessible “black-box” theatre style space, with immersive sound and lighting design throughout the experience. Moments of darkness and dim-lighting should be expected. Seating will be provided, and restrooms are readily available. Workshops will last for approximately 45 minutes, with 3 hours of play.
