“A Great Play” is an immersive and improvisational exercise in community theater. The work explores the interrelationships of player and fan, performer and spectator through a fresh look at America’s pastime. Lockhart, Texas sandlot baseball is the backdrop, as Sanders and a constellation of collaborators bring you along on their search for the perfect game. 11:00am Opening Act: Diablitos de El Paso vs Salado Swingers 2:00pm "A Great Play": Texas Playboys vs Lockhart Hawks (1 ticket gets you into both)

Founded by a group of artists in 2005, the festival features unique live performances from Austin and around the world at sites and venues across the city, ranging from intimate galleries, theaters, and clubs, to large scale projects springing to life in parks, under bridges, and across entire neighborhoods.
