New Unique Hangouts Feb '22

VRChat has no shortage of hangout worlds, but after a while you might get tired of cozy apartments and shiny clubs. So this month's New collection has a good list of worlds that are just a little unique. Bring your crew for to one of these for your next hangout for something a bit different.

All the worlds on this list are PC-only. (Sorry Questies, I'll get you some good stuff for the next playlist!)

Prefabs Tree

An update to the community event venue for the VRCPrefabs community, this version of an elegant, gigantic tree is fully audio-reactive! Around the center stage are rooms for relaxing, chatting, or playing games. The top floor is a gallery of scultpures and photos. Be sure to take the teleporter to the bottom for a spectacular view of the moon and ocean.

Tree Fort

Fans of the tv show Adventure Time will have a blast exploring this faithful recreation of the treehouse that Finn and Jake call home. A great venue for a hangout or party, with many levels and unique rooms to explore.

Veggie's Coffee

Let's keep the nature theme but check out some unique cafes. The first one is a small shop but with a natural feel with sunlight and plants. Upstairs you can read a number of the "books" on the shelf! This venue can also be used for a DJ event, with a booth setup in the corner. This cafe will make you wish you knew a spot just like it in real life.

VRM Cafe Celebration

This cafe is completely the opposite--it's slick and shiny, set in a cyberpunk city. Vibrant with color and lights, be sure to grab a coffee and dessert from the bar, and check out the jacuzzi in the back!

Waffle House on the Moon

If you prefer your coffee to be served in a more nostalgic location, but still...otherworldly...you have to visit Waffle House on the Moon. We're not sure why this truck stop is where no trucks stop, but it is definitely worth a visit. The small details in this world really sell the waffle experience.

90s House Party

Do you feel like having a party but want to recreate that feel of going to your friend Steve's house while his parents were out of town? Grab a Hi-C and plop down on the couch in this suburban house blasting 90s tunes, or go play pool in the basement with your pals.

KTNK ETT HOUSE

There's just something warm and welcoming about this circular world. It gives the feeling of a library or community center, with bright warm lights and lots of resources for any player or creator! The avatar and world rooms are especially useful for testing creations, but this is also a great gathering spot.

The Foxkin Offices

This small vintage office world is richly detailed and perfect for a film noir type roleplay setting. Sit at the desk and listen to some jazz, or plot your next heist with your crew.

Villa na ọzara

Hangout worlds are usually nighttime settings, but not this one! Bask in the blazing sun in an oasis in the middle of the desert. The world thumbnail calls this world "anthill house" and you can kind of see it with the twisting internal staircases. When you enter you can almost feel the cool relief the interior offers from the heat outside.

Small 바보 Island （Day)

Beach worlds aren't uncommon, but it is pretty unusual to find one as simply well-crafted. The water seems inviting, and even contains some sealife. Relax in one of the huts, or lounge in a chair and get a virtual tan. Plan your next special beach episode here!

The Paaaaaaad

Do you ever just want to give it all up and be a frog on a lilypad? This world's got you, fam. It's a hangout with froggy friends in the pond. Drink, dance, watch videos, play games, do all the things a frog would do.
