Classics: Epic Adventures

Be sure to check out these classic VRChat adventures. Each takes an hour or more to complete, so great for a single session with friends. These are some of the most ambitious content created for VRChat, and must-see experiences for anyone that likes games, puzzles, and immersive worlds.

The Devouring

A full VR horror game set in VRChat, and winner of Raindance 2020's Best Immersive Game and Best Immersive World. Find your way through the twists and turns of this thrilling mansion before dinner is served.

Prepare for a long session and bring friends! 3-6 hour playtime

Luxerion World

This RPG with a Final Fantasy theme can take hours to fully complete, or you can pick a quest or two at a time. The boss battles in this world are phenomenal, and the world is fun to explore. You can also turn on the dev commentary mode!

4-9 hour play time for full completion

Sketchu Spring

This adventure is set in a huge land, full of dust storms and mysterious ruins. Hidden are mysterious objects, and clues to the former inhabitants of the land. You can use flying bubble copters to explore faster. The ending is incredibly satisfying, so stick it out and find all the secrets!

2+ hours playtime

Crypt of the Spirits

This adventure is also Quest-compatible, which is fairly unusual for the larger adventure worlds. Very classic dungeon feel with clever puzzles.

Dark Waters

A classic RPG feel! Sail your ship to various ports to complete quests, talk to the NPCs, and have some good piratey fun. 2+ hours, and be sure to check out the sequel, Dark Waters 2!

Yuiko's Rock

These charming low-poly islands look at first just like a nice hangout spot. But there is a series of delightful puzzles, each leading a little further. Look carefully for clues everywhere! Recently updated for additional puzzles!

Gumball Lounge

Another Quest-compatible world! The PC version is a little more fully-featured, so be sure to look up "Club Gumball" by the same creator for that experience. But both are some of the most colorful, wonderfully animated adventure worlds we've ever seen! The movement and colors in this world can be a little intense, so make sure to get your VR legs first!

Stormy Cave

This world has been around for a long time, and many passed through it without even being aware of the massive mystery underneath. Be sure to explore outside the cave!

Macavity Manor

This classic map is one of the earliest escape-room type puzzles in VRChat, and it still holds up. The ending might not make that much sense unless you complete all the "Mr. Whiskers" maps, but it's still a satisfying experience!

What a Legend

This last adventure was a collaboration, so each realm is unique based on the creator. After you find all six pieces of cheese you have to face the ultimate challenge! Slightly silly, but great fun.
