"We're back. We've missed you. We've made some changes. This year... we're closing ranks. Only a handful of you are coming. No safety in numbers. Super limited run. This one is for the real ones." Berlin’s only queer immersive horror experience NIGHTCRAWLERS invites audiences into a 360° installation built around interactive storytelling, intense full-contact encounters, and deep immersion. Participants enter in small groups of up to four, with each high-intensity session lasting around an hour. They’re instructed to wear clothes they’re ready to throw away. To expect to be handled. And, above all, to remember the safeword. For the 2026 edition, the team behind NIGHTCRAWLERS has been dredging the murky depths of Germany’s stagnant waters. In the stinking soil, they’ve stirred up restless spirits driven by guilt, wounded pride, and a taste for violence. Confronting these hauntings has been central to Jos Porath, Melody Pasanideh, and Wanja Neite’s crafting a boundary-pushing experience that speaks to the horrors of resurgent fascism, while inviting audiences to discover more about themselves and their own fears along the way.
