Your friend Siobhán is an extroverted film student whose classes have been transferred online because...reasons. Instead of being moved by documentary film theory, however, she finds herself moved by coagulations of pixels with synchronized audio--that is, a particular fellow classmate, who CLEARLY feels the same way. They just need to find the right moment. And they WILL. Performance artist Siobhán O’Loughlin’s Magnum Zoom Opus flirts its way into physical form as her team presents a live stage adaptation of her true (and only slightly extra) quest for love and connection in the age of Quarantine. ----- Siobhan O’Loughlin is a bicoastal performance artist and producer. Her site-specific, immersive piece Broken Bone Bathtub was featured in the PBS Emmy Award-winning series Immersive.World, and is the recipient of the 2019 Immersion Award for Most Transformative Experience, as well as the New York Innovative Theatre Award for Outstanding Solo Performance. Her self-produced documentary about touring the show globally is premiering in cities across the U.S. this summer. Siobhan's interactive serial digital art experiment, Please Don’t Touch the Artist (PDT) earned No Proscenium’s Audience Choice Award for Outstanding Individual Performance in 2020 and resulted in an annual artistic retreat in the catskill mountains called Please Do Vibe.
