Mrs Krishnan's Party

An intimate and immersive theatrical experience from the Indian Ink Theatre Company. Step into the backroom of Mrs Krishnan’s convenience store where garlands decorate the ceiling, music flows, and Mrs Krishnan is throwing a party like no other. Food simmers on the stove, laughter abounds and strangers become friends in this joyous celebration of life. This intimate show, where the audience will be seated on the stage, has the actors mingling with the patrons in an unfolding drama where no two nights of the show are the same. COVID-19 Health and Safety Procedures The University of Denver (DU) has taken a multi-layered approach in response to the COVID-19 pandemic with a primary focus on protecting and promoting the health and well-being of its students, faculty, staff, patrons, and visiting artists. In consultation with DU’s health care partner, National Jewish Health, and consistent with guidance from federal, state, and local public health agencies, DU has implemented a variety of mitigation measures across campus, including requiring face coverings, as well as mandatory testing and vaccination requirements for students and employees. Throughout the Newman Center, DU is using a high-volume, lowvelocity ventilation system with HEPA air filtration. As of September 17, all patrons ages 12 and older attending a Newman Center performance must present: (1) Proof of full vaccination by showing a physical copy or photo of a vaccine card or by using the MyColorado app; (2) For those who are not fully vaccinated, proof of a negative COVID-19 PCR test is taken within 72 hours of the performance. Please note that (a) full vaccination means 14 days after receiving the final dose of an FDA authorized or WHO listed vaccine, and (b) results from antigen tests and home testing kits will not be accepted. In addition, all visitors must wear a face covering at all times while inside the Newman Center, including during the performance, except when an individual is actively eating or drinking.
